Ashleigh Pettigrew

Ashleigh is passionate about empowering and valuing children, young people, and their families through the twists and turns of growing up.

Ashleigh completed her Bachelor of Psychology (Honours Class 1) at the University of Newcastle in 2020 and is currently completing her 4+2 internship program. She presented her honours thesis at the E-Mental Health Conference in 2020 alongside the team at Everymind and has recently published her thesis in an international psychology journal. Ashleigh is a registered psychologist with AHPRA.

Working part-time as a provisional psychologist at a local school, Ashleigh greatly values working alongside teachers and parents in providing tailored support for students as they journey through school. She is passionate about empowering and valuing children, young people, and their families through the twists and turns of growing up, and she endeavours to create a safe space for individuals to feel heard and supported.

Ashleigh lives in Newcastle with her newlywed husband. When she isn’t working, you can find her at the gym, baking (and eating) anything sweet, completing jigsaw puzzles, or spending quality time with her husband, family, and friends.
